LAHORE - May 31, 2006: The Rules of Business of Non-Banking Finance Companies are being amended and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has circulated the draft of amendments among the stakeholders.

Investment Banks Association of Pakistan’s Chairman Rashid Mansur disclosed this while talking to newsmen at the Conference on Corporate Governance here on Wednesday.

He said that the board meetings of the Investment Banks Association of Pakistan, Modaraba Association of Pakistan and Pakistan Leasing Association would be held on June 5, 2006 to discuss the proposed amendments. The representatives of the three Associations would then discuss the amendments with the SECP on June 6, 2006.

He said that the three Associations had given their comments on the proposed amendments to the SECP already.
